We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food and drink safety and quality. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing the team effectively and fostering a positive working environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Knowledge of cellar maintenance and ideally an interest in beer.
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management.
• Barista experience is a bonus.
• Ability to muck in with the myriad tasks necessary in a busy pub!
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Supervise daily operations within the pub, ensuring smooth service delivery.
• Manage and lead the day’s team, providing guidance and support to junior staff members.
• Manage busy services ensuring customer satisfaction in both the restaurant and bar.
• Conducting line cleans, cellar maintenance and liaising with breweries for orders.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pub.
