Domestic and Laundry Assistant – Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Location: Byron House Care Home, 141-143 Wendover Road, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP21 9LP
Hours: Up to 37.5hours per week, covering 5 shifts over 7 days, inclusive of alternate weekends
Shifts: 8.00am to 4.00pm
Hourly rate: £12.21 per hour, plus 50p p/h weekend enhancement

We are looking for pro-active and positive Domestic and Laundry Assistants to join our family at Byron House Care Home. • To clean all assigned rooms, paying close attention to all surfaces, floors and en-suite bathrooms
• Maintain and replenish all cleaning products
• Maintain hygiene and infection control procedures at all times
• Ensure that all equipment is clean, well maintained and stored properly
• Adhere to Health and Safety procedures, ensuring that all company operational standards are met in line with quality, cleanliness, infection control, health and safety and business needs
• Ensure that all public areas and staff facilities meet company standards at all times
• Ensure that all maintenance issues are reported immediately and followed up as required
• Ensure residents’ laundry is washed, dried, ironed, and returned in a timely fashion
• Sort, label, and safely store clothing and linen
• Operate laundry equipment (washing machines, dryers, irons) safely and efficiently
