Welder/Fitter – Night Shift
Looking for reliable, long-term employment with consistent hours and a solid crew?
We’re currently hiring experienced Welder/Fitters for night shift positions in our busy structural steel facility. With projects secured through 2027, there’s plenty of steady work ahead. If you’re skilled with a welding torch, accurate with measurements, and can read blueprints with confidence, this role could be a great match.
Location: Nisku or Edmonton, AB
Hours: Monday to Friday 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM
Pay: $35–38/hr (depending on experience) + $3/hr night shift premium
Overtime: Paid after 44 hours/week

QUALIFICATIONS

CWB FCAW tickets all positions
Experience reading blueprints and doing layout
Night owls who are happy to work evenings
Reliable, motivated team players
Journeypersons or apprentices welcome

Fitting and welding structural steel (think beams, columns, balconies, and more)
Reading shop drawings and putting them into action
Tack welding, assembling, and helping move projects through the production line
Using both manual and robotic welders (we’ll show you the ropes if you’re new to the tech)
Keeping safety top of mind while working with a close-knit team
