Are you a successful supply chain manager who is a strategic problem-solver who turns complex logistics, data, and supplier networks into a smooth, cost-effective flow of goods?

Here's your chance to make your mark by reducing costs, optimizing inventory, and leveraging data technology to deliver goods on time and improve customer satisfaction.

Your Role:

As the Group Supply Chain Manager, you'll have the opportunity to create and optimize our supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient and effective flow of goods and services. Your leadership will be critical in communicating our offer and value proposition to the market, driving change through a fully engaged and coordinated supply chain.

THE COMPANY

Cube Asia Pacific is a privately held Australian electrical services and technology group built for the trades and industrial sectors. We grow by acquiring and backing specialist electrical businesses — preserving what makes them great locally, while giving them the resources, standards, and career pathways of a group organisation.

We are looking for a "Team player" who is enthusiastic with loads of resourcefulness, energy, passion, skills, and persistence to support the scale of our growth ambitions.

This KEY position requires a blend of strategic supply chain management skills, technical aptitude/knowledge, and relationship-building capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Creation & Optimization: Oversee and enhance the entire supply chain process from procurement to delivery, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Purchasing Relationship Management: Cultivate strong and lasting relationships with suppliers, understanding their needs and preferences, and tailoring solutions to meet specific agreed requirements. Foster win-win relationships with key suppliers.
  • Collaboration with Engineering Team: Work closely with the engineering team to develop and purchase products from internationally renowned suppliers for switchgear, ensuring products meet specific project needs (commercially and logistically).

Qualifications:

  • Supply Chain Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in supply chain management, ideally within the electrical industry, with a preference for experience using an ERP - Ostendo.
  • Strategic Planning Skills: Strong ability to develop and implement strategic supply chain plans that align with company goals.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively conveying technical information and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, fostering trust and loyalty.
  • Motivation and Drive: Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a determination to achieve and exceed performance targets.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of addressing supply chain challenges and finding innovative solutions to various issues that may arise.

In meeting our criteria, applicants are required to answer the following questions in their Covering Letter:
