By analysing customer insights, you will guide your team to continuously improve their approach and seize new opportunities. With your extensive retail experience, you understand the ins and outs of a sales-driven environment and know how to inspire your team to hit and exceed targets. You lead by example, driving initiatives that boost customer satisfaction and business growth. As Market Sales & Customer Experience Manager your responsibilities include but are not limited to
-
- Lead the customer & selling assignment and unit strategy and be accountable for its performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of sales and customer service leaders and co-workers, ranging in experience and skill levels. Foster an environment that prioritises customer satisfaction while promoting a culture of continuous learning and development. Ensure the team has the tools, knowledge, and motivation to achieve set goals.
- Work hands-on and be fully engaged on the shopfloor, providing direct support to co-workers and customers when needed. Ensure smooth daily operations by leading through people and offering real-time guidance.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team to translate broader business action plans to operational goals. Set clear, measurable objectives for the team, track progress, and identify performance gaps.
- Oversee resource allocation, including people planning and budgeting, to ensure operational efficiency. Work with the leadership team to manage budgets effectively, ensuring that the resources are optimally distributed.
- Secure that local market, customer, consumer and competitor insights are used to identify local market potential and continuously improve sales performance and omnichannel customer experience.
- Monitor individual and team performance to achieve goals and objectives, identifying and implementing corrective action where necessary.
- Periodically take on Duty responsibilities, acting as the Store Manager to ensure the safety of visitors, customers and co-workers.
To be considered for this role, experience in the following is essential:

- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in leadership or management within commercial functions.
- Extensive experience working in a fast-paced, omnichannel retail environment, with a strong understanding of operational processes and floor management.
- Proven effective business acumen and strong understanding of profit and loss.
- Successful skills in problem solving, conflict management and people development.
- Skilled in making commercial decisions based on market data.
