About the Role JDS Energy & Mining is seeking an experienced Mine Engineer / Mine Technician to support the safe and effective execution of underground mining operations through short‑range planning, production coordination, and operational support. This role works closely with underground operations, planning, and technical services teams to ensure production activities are aligned with approved mine plans, safety requirements, and operational priorities.The Mine Engineer / Mine Technician plays a key role in translating short‑range plans into executable work, supporting field leadership during execution, monitoring production performance, and identifying opportunities to improve planning accuracy and operational efficiency. This position contributes directly to safe, consistent, and well‑coordinated underground production.
