Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Sell advertising campaigns utilizing both radio and digital products to local and regional advertisers from an assigned account list. Prepare marketing proposals and creative ideas to present to customers that will assist in the achievement of their overall business goals. Prospect for new clients on a continuous basis. Learn about their business and use that knowledge to present outlines of various schedules and/or programs that will draw customers to their business. Achieve or exceed daily activity and sales goals as determined with the Director of Sales. Ensure proper credit applications are completed and be responsible for timely collection of payment from advertisers. Participate in training programs, assigned by the Company, designed to increase job knowledge and job performance. Develop and maintain positive relationships with advertising clients. Investigate and resolve customer problems. Complete all necessary paperwork to ensure proper internal communications and good customer service. Maintain a positive cooperative working relationship with copywriters, production and traffic personnel as well as other support staff to ensure clients’ needs are met.
