We’re looking for a Field Services Operations Specialist to join our Technology team and help support the technology that keeps our restaurants running every day.

Working across our restaurant network, you’ll provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot more complex technology issues and coordinate with restaurant teams, internal technology teams and external vendors to get things back up and running.

You’ll gain exposure to a broad restaurant technology environment, including POS, payments, networks, kiosks, digital menu boards and restaurant devices, while supporting new restaurant openings, technology rollouts and ongoing improvements.


A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR FIELD SERVICES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

On any given day you'll:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve restaurant technology incidents across POS, BOH, EFTPOS, networks, KDS, kiosks, digital menu boards, printers and other restaurant devices.
  • Provide technical escalation support for issues that can’t be resolved through initial Service Desk troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate field technicians and vendors for onsite troubleshooting, repairs, installations and replacements.
  • Support incidents impacting restaurant trading and work with the wider team to restore services quickly.
  • Help investigate recurring issues and identify opportunities for longer-term fixes.
  • Support new restaurant openings, refurbishments, hardware refreshes and technology rollouts.
  • Assist with technology changes including POS upgrades, patching, endpoint updates and new deployments.
  • Maintain technical documentation, support guides and knowledge articles.
  • Share knowledge with the wider support team and contribute to improvements in how we support our restaurants.


ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 3+ years' experience in IT support, ideally within QSR, retail, hospitality, enterprise support or field services.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows 10/11, hardware and software.
  • Good networking knowledge across LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, wireless and general connectivity.
  • Experience with endpoint management tools such as Endpoint Central, SCCM or similar.
  • Exposure to POS, EFTPOS, retail or restaurant technology would be highly regarded.
  • Experience working with ITSM tools and incident, request and change management processes.
  • Confidence working with vendors and coordinating technical issues through to resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to support non-technical users.
  • A proactive, organised and practical approach to problem-solving.
  • An interest in learning more about restaurant technology and working in a fast-paced, operational environment.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call roster to support our 24/7 restaurant operations.
