Director Commissioning Performance   Based in Parramatta – flexible and hybrid arrangements available Ongoing role available $226,630 - $251,576 total remuneration payable   Your role   As the Director Commissioning Performance, you will drive evidence‑based decision-making, lead strategic performance oversight, and help reform the statewide service system to deliver improved outcomes for children, families and communities.   You will shape commissioning practice across the department by embedding performance frameworks, intelligence, and analysis that support sustainable sector growth including community-led organisations and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations. You will contribute to building a responsive, accountable service system grounded in strong performance insights and meaningful engagement with providers and stakeholders.   What you’ll do   As the Director Commissioning Performance, you will:   Lead statewide performance framework implementation, including indicators, reporting, analytics and dashboards for 1300+ contracted services. Provide strategic advice to strengthen performance, mitigate risk and support informed decision‑making across Commissioning & Planning and program areas. Oversee market intelligence to identify trends, risks, gaps and opportunities, improving outcomes for vulnerable populations. Support growth of community‑led and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, including enabling market entry in rural and remote locations. Review contract management systems and governance to ensure accountability, quality and alignment with departmental policies. Drive service delivery reviews to ensure priorities are met and funding aligns with community needs.
