The Role The position is responsible for servicing and installing various electronic equipment to include security and point of sale.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities  * Troubleshoots, inspects, replaces/repairs a wide variety of electro-mechanical devices such as cash registers, coin changers, security equipment, alarms, and point of sale equipment.   * Complete service requests and maintenance repair items in a timely manner and ensures all requests are handled in a professional manner. * Correctly review work orders, manuals, and drawings to properly perform maintenance and service of equipment. * Utilize various testing devices, multiple hand and power tools related to the job.   * May be temporarily assigned to other geographical area to provide support with new installations and upgrades. * Other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications * Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required. * Must be able to work independently and be a strong problem-solver. * Strong attention to safety and willingness to follow all safety protocols. * 24/7 on-call rotation with other techs in your area. * Must be able to travel up to 30-40% overnight. * Experience with various POS systems (Verifone/NCR) a plus. * Experience with Alarms a plus. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Good driving record is required. * Ability to use a computer and smartphone proficiently.
