Description We are an independent insurance agency seeking an Insurance Processor to be responsible for processing accurate, professional insurance forms & documents and to provide support to other staff members. This position is expected to work hand in hand with the Account Managers, but also to work independently at times and be problem solvers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests upon arrival Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls Receive, sort and distribute mail Assist all walk-in clients with payments and billing questions Coordinates all on-demand and renewal cert issuance Completes change request ordering from carrier Processes audits that are not premium bearing or do not have a large increase (send other audits to AM/Producer) Sends all policies to be checked by third party vendor Checks endorsements from carrier for accuracy Processes cancellations (DB non pay, LPR’s received from AM, and sending non renewals to AM/Producer) Handles escalating premium bearing change requests and audits to AM Completes MVR requests for underwriting only Orders loss runs when requested Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned. Requirements Requirements Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Active Property and Casualty Insurance License a plus. Personal Lines Insurance experience a plus. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks with minimal guidance in order to meet deadlines.
