We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented individual to lead and drive strategic initiatives aimed at optimising and automating our finance function. The ideal candidate will be a change agent, possessing a strong understanding of finance processes, technology, and best practices. This role will be responsible for identifying opportunities for improvement, leading transformation projects, and ensuring the successful implementation of new systems and processes. This person will work within the Finance team, and will assist on various projects aimed at automating finance business processes (including month-end close and other periodic closes, implementation of new finance tools etc.), as well as further improving our data flows and approval processes to ensure the seamless functioning of financial processes. This role requires a hands-on individual who will deep-dive into topics with business stakeholders to gain understanding of key issues and work within the Finance Transformation team to problem-solve and implement actionable solutions leveraging technology to enhance finance processes. WHAT YOU WILL DO Work alongside the Finance team to develop and implement a comprehensive finance transformation roadmap aligned with the company's strategic objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and standardization across all finance functions (e.g., accounting, reporting, planning, analysis). Lead the implementation of new technologies and systems to enhance efficiency and data visibility. Implement solutions to automate manual tasks within finance processes, such as automate reconciliations performed as part of the month end close process, including creation of APIs and data scraping functionality. Evaluate and recommend new finance technologies and connectivity between our systems (i.e. connectivity between ERP, financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software, as well as use of robotic process automation (RPA)). Manage project teams, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful execution of transformation initiatives. Develop and maintain detailed process documentation and training materials.
