You’ll develop specialist transport modelling software skills, programming skills and data analytics, to create transport models which represent the transport network, the demand for travel and the travel choices and behaviours that individuals make. You will calibrate the models against real world data and then use them to forecast a range of possible future scenarios and test the impact of transport schemes and policies. Your ability to interpret the results of the models and communicate them to colleagues and clients will help influence decision making and shape the future of our transport networks.          Rail Operations Planning – Birmingham, Derby, Manchester  The signalling and Rail Operations discipline plan, develop, design and implement safety critical signalling and railway operations systems across the UK and Global Transport Markets.
