We are looking for a (Dutch speaking) Office Manager for our location in Rotterdam.
Join our dynamic and international team and gain experience in managing office operations within the maritime technology sector. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to oversee various aspects of our office and training centre, and support different departments whenever needed. You will be the face of our office in Rotterdam and make sure guests and employees feel welcome. This role is part of the HOII team (HR, Office, ICT and ISO), who are looking forward to welcome a new member to the team!
One of the key responsibilities is to maintain a good work environment for our colleagues. By having an eye for improvements, maintenance and a good atmosphere you will make a big impact on how colleagues are using and experiencing their work environment.
The other key responsibility is to manage our training center. This training center will be used by both our colleagues and external parties whenever they need to book a timeslot to host trainings or run simulators tests. You will be in charge of the planning, coordination and preparation to make sure everything runs smoothly.
All in all you will be making sure that colleagues an guests feel welcome in our facility.

As the Office Manager at VSTEP, your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations and maintaining a well-organized workplace.
• Handling incoming communication (emails, phone calls) prompt and professionally.
• Implementing and improving office policies and procedures.
• Event management for our company outings.
• Administration related to the office and the training centre.
• Managing and preparing the bookings for internal and external users of our training simulators.
• Make sure we are stocked on office supplies, lunch items (for guests and employees) and other relevant items.
• Be the face of the office and make people feel welcome.
