JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a confident self-employed and hands-on Assistant On-Site Manager to lead and manage our day to day delivery operations. This is a frontline leadership role responsible for supporting and managing a team of delivery associates, overseeing fleet usage and condition, improving performance standards, and stepping in to deliver when required. You will be overseeing daily operations and supporting our delivery associates as they deliver smiles to Amazon customers in Suffolk, Norfolk and the surrounding areas.

REQUIREMENTS:

Have the right to work in the UK
Hold a current full UK or EU driving licence
One day weekend working required
Days required: - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday working
Have no more than 6 penalty points on current Driving Licence
Be required to complete and pass a DBS check (cost covered by company)
Be responsible for own transportation to and from the Amazon Depot DIP1, Sproughton Road, Ipswich, IP1 5BL
Provide own safety shoes

Ensure a successful load out of all delivery associates and routes
Work hand in hand with the on-site manager to ensure a smooth daily operation of the business
Manage relationship with the station, delivery associates, business owner and external partners
Represent the company as a POC in any meetings or deliberations
Rostering and accurtare apacity planning
Ensure route committments and targets are met
Active on the road management
Fleet Management
Deputise for the on-site manager in absence
Ensure the company and its operations are compliant at all times
Any other Ad Hoc duties as required by the business.
