Description

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Kind, compassionate and positive when assisting our clients
  • A team player who knows when to pitch-in and help and also can focus to achieve their individual objectives in a busy office
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to speak with lenders, brokers, realtors and other law offices
  • An ability to take a real estate transaction from beginning to completion including but not limited to all of the following tasks: file intake, conducting and reviewing preliminary title searches; drafting requisition letters; accounting and drafting all documents pre and post closing
  • Strong knowledge and comfort using Teraview
  • Highly-organized with excellent file management and administrative skills (multi-tasking is a must!)
  • Attention to detail and high quality of work is a necessity
  • A minimum of two years of experiences working as a law clerk is a job request. Candidates who have this experience as a Real Estate Clerk are highly preferred (however we are also open to teaching the right candidate)
  • The following characteristics are preferred but not required:
  • Completion of a diploma program in either Law Clerk of Legal Assistant
  • Experience will be a significant asset in the hiring process
  • Knowledge and familiarity of CLIO (client relationship software)
