Job Title: Kitchen Team Member – Chick ’N’ Bao
Job Overview
Chick ’N’ Bao is on the lookout for a passionate and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our fast-paced street food kitchen. You’ll be at the heart of preparing our signature bao buns, rice boxes, loaded chips, and more—ensuring every order is fresh, flavour-packed, and served with care. If you’re into bold flavours, great vibes, and being part of a growing independent brand, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble dishes such as bao buns, fried rice, noodles, and loaded sides to spec.
Handle food prep including marinating, chopping, frying, and plating.
Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation, following all food safety and health regulations.
Support with stock rotation and report low ingredients to the manager.
Engage with customers at the front when needed—take orders, offer recommendations, and upsell specials.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service, especially during busy periods.
Follow portioning and prep guidelines accurately (basic maths skills come in handy!).
Learn the menu and kitchen routines quickly and help train new staff when required.

Experience in a kitchen or fast-casual food setting is preferred but not essential—attitude matters most.
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safe handling practices.
Comfortable in a busy kitchen environment with the ability to multitask.
