At Clement Janken, we operate Church of Secular Coffee, The Monash Club, and provide external catering services across the Monash University Campus. We’re looking for a casual Chef de Partie with diverse experience who can confidently contribute across all areas of our operations.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations, including prep, service, and occasional menu development
  • Work across all areas of the business fine dining, café service, and catering. Adapting to different styles and workflows
  • Ensure food is consistently prepared and presented to a high standard
  • Assist with stock control, ordering, and maintaining food safety standards
  • Open and close the kitchen as required, ensuring all systems are followed
  • Contribute to a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
  • Take ownership of your section and help support junior staff when needed
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver smooth service, especially during busy periods
