Omya Canada Inc. est à la recherche d’un(e) ingénieur (e) de production dynamique et soucieux du détail pour se joindre à notre équipe à l’usine de Saint-Armand (CASA). Ce rôle est essentiel pour assurer le fonctionnement efficace des processus de production, en mettant l’accent sur la supervision des processus, la gestion des matières premières et le leadership en matière de santé et de sécurité. Le candidat retenu collaborera également étroitement avec l’équipe d’entretien pour mettre en œuvre des améliorations aux processus et coordonner les calendriers d’entretien.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Baccalauréat en génie mécanique, industriel ou minier.
• Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience pertinente dans un rôle d’ingénierie de production, de procédés ou d’ingénierie minière.
• Bonne compréhension des processus de production industrielle, des opérations de carrière et de la manutention des matières premières.
• Expérience démontrée en gestion de la santé et de la sécurité, y compris la participation du CMSST et la méthodologie 5S.
• Excellentes compétences en résolution de problèmes, en analyse et en organisation.
• Communication efficace et habiletés interpersonnelles.
• Doit être bilingue en français et en anglais.

Omya Canada Inc. is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our team at the Saint-Armand (CASA) plant. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation of production processes, with a strong focus on process supervision, raw material management, and health and safety leadership. The successful candidate will also collaborate closely with the maintenance team to implement process improvements and coordinate maintenance schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Mining Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a production, process or mining engineering role.
• Strong understanding of industrial production processes, quarry operations, and raw material handling.
• Demonstrated experience in health and safety management, including JHSC participation and 5S methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be bilingual in English and French.

Lieu du poste : En présentie

• Supervise and optimize daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Monitor and manage quarry raw material inputs and plant feed to maintain consistent production standards. Strongly collaborate with the Mining department to support its activities.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans, and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Develop and update work instructions and procedures.
• Lead and support health and safety initiatives, including prevention programs, Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) activities, safety improvement projects, and 5S implementation.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to plan and execute process-oriented projects and maintenance activities.
• Analyze production data and implement continuous improvement strategies aligned with Omya’s operational excellence goals.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental guidelines.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to support plant-wide initiatives and strategic objectives.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
