JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Coordinator is a critical position that provides administrative and backup support to the production team while providing an opportunity to learn about the production environment and process at ILM.
Do you thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment and understand the importance of attention to detail? Are you a proactive individual who can balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and integrity? If you love connecting with people and problem solving with your team, then this might be the role you’re looking for!
At ILM, we strive to be an inclusive environment, and we are committed to considering promising individuals with a variety of backgrounds and experiences for this position.
The Production Coordinator is key to the smooth operation of our projects, primarily focusing on scheduling, communication, and coordination for a specific group (discipline) of artists (or multiple groups) on any given project. Reporting to the Project ("Show") Producer and Production Manager, you’ll work alongside APMs and other Coordinators to maintain an efficient show schedule and positive artist experience. You’ll partner directly with your discipline supervisor/lead to schedule and manage your artists’ workload, assess crewing needs, and oversee their deliverables.
This role demands excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities, serving as a vital information source for the team. You’ll also guide and delegate tasks to Production Assistants.
