ABOUT THE ROLE:

As an individual contributor, the Manager, Metadata Management drives operationalization and sustainability of mature data management practices with a focus on metadata. They champion the advancement of quality metadata development in support of data governance requirements. Working with operational groups and services and data stakeholders across the BMO enterprise, they will drive the deployment and implementation of processes and methodologies supporting a shared understanding of metadata and data maturity at BMO.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

• Enable data practitioners to mature their metadata practices by supporting their adoption of data management capabilities.
• Develop and maintain repeatable practice procedures for successful deployment of data practices around metadata management.
• Advocate for advancement of data management practices
• Partner closely with the Data Governance function to ensure an end-to-end value generating operating model for the Bank
