We are looking for 15 ambitious individuals ready to retrain as Cloud DevOps Engineers, build future-proof tech careers, and join Deloitte’s rapidly growing technology team. This fully funded training programme is designed to fast-track your journey as a Cloud DevOps Engineer, providing a brilliant basis from which to continue to learn, develop and grow.

Our work spans mission-critical systems and high-impact digital services, partnering with senior leaders to deliver maximum value at the heart of their organisations.
The programme will be based in Deloitte’s Dublin office, with a hybrid delivery model and curriculum focused on contemporary digital skills - including Cloud, and AI. If you’re ready to build a career in tech with one of Ireland’s most respected firms, this is your opportunity to make it happen.

What You Will Need:

• Educated to degree level (any subject) or a Diploma in Information Technology.
• Foundational knowledge of Cloud (ideally AWS, Azure, or GCP) and AI.
• Passion for all things tech, with a curious mindset to continue learning.
• The ability to self-motivate and to own problems, with strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Strategic thinking approach, thinking broadly and the ability to think outside of the box.
• Passion for working collaboratively across the business, with peers and senior leaders.
• Fluency in English language.
• Hold permanent right to work in Ireland (without restriction).

What happens after the bootcamp?
Our 12-week accelerated Cloud and AI Bootcamp is designed to equip you with the skills needed to thrive in the tech industry. The programme will include innovative learning and 2 weeks hands on experience working in our Engineering & AI team. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will have the opportunity to apply your learning and gain experience working on cutting-edge projects within Deloitte’s Engineering, AI & Data portfolio. You will be involved in developing innovative solutions using cloud technologies and AI, contributing to transformative projects that drive business success.
You will join a team of like-minded individuals who share a passion for growth and innovation. You will have a dedicated people leader to support you through this career transition and a buddy to help show you the ropes, ensuring a smooth integration into our dynamic environment.

You will:

• Collaborate with teams to develop innovative solutions leveraging cloud and AI.
• Innovate by replacing manual processes with scripts and applications, enhancing operational efficiency.
• Contribute to building and deploying automation support (CI/CD) across cloud platforms.
• Develop infrastructure as code and testable infrastructure using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Create metrics to demonstrate performance and operational efficiency, focusing on automation and monitoring.
• Drive analysis, design, and development of automation tools for configuration, provisioning, deployment, and operational tasks.
• Work cross-functionally with App DevOps teams to achieve outstanding results.
• Design automated systems management solutions with self-repair/healing capabilities.
• Develop AI-driven applications and solutions to enhance data analytics and automate processes.
• Implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate on AI projects to improve predictive analytics and decision-making capabilities.
