Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Cloud Engineer to design and develop a robust, large-scale cloud platform that hosts IoT devices in the forms of cameras and sensors. The ideal candidate will be proficient in building scalable, production-grade microservices, have a strong understanding of network protocols, and have extensive experience in AWS and GCP cloud platforms Responsibilities include Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and microservices for IoT/sensor/camera based platforms. Build scalable backend services using Python and Node.js, with front-end integration using TypeScript/AngularJS. Implement and maintain APIs for real-time device communication, streaming, and management. Ensure robust handling of TCP/IP communication between cloud services and connected devices using web sockets. CI/CD Deploy, monitor, and optimize production-grade microservices in cloud environments, including AWS and GCP. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, architecture, and solutions. Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance. Collaborate closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with performance, security, and scalability goals. Participate in after-hours deployments and incident response activities as required. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to team members, promoting best practices in cloud automation and infrastructure as code (IaC) Qualifications / Experience / Skills Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or equivalent. 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering and/or DevOps roles. Proficient in Python programming language. Exposure to Angular/ ReactJS. Proven experience in cloud services and enterprise-scale platform management. Hands on experience with best practices of version control system and branching strategy. Proficiency in AWS / GCP cloud platforms. Good understanding of networking, security, database concepts and cloud architecture principles. Experience with CI/CD tools (eg: Bitbucket Pipelines, Bamboo or GitHub Actions). Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Familiarity with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills, applying strong analysis and troubleshooting skills Strong attention to detail.
