Tasks and duties

• design and implement DevOps technologies and processes
• deploy, configure and install solutions on production and non production environment
• build automated deployments
• Change and incident management in a complex environment
• 1st and 2nd level support for the Front Office users
• Contribute to team work especially with dev teams (DevOps mindset)
• routine application maintenance tasks
• create requirements and procedures for implementing routine maintenance
• evaluate existing applications and platforms
• give recommendations for enhancing performance via gap analysis/CI/CD, Brown Bag Lunch…

Profile

• IT background in Business Informatics or University Degree with IT Cursus or equivalent
• Experience in running applications with high availability on server farms based on Microsoft Windows
• Previous experience in Application Support, Application engineering, Devops (min. 3 years)
• Good knowledge with CI/CD and you know how to automate everything possible to deliver efficiently in a quality secured way
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows based OS
• Very good experience in agile projects (Scrum, Kanban…)
• Strong advantage : knowledge of Geneos or similar softwares, Elasticsearch, Kibana
• Preferably : domain knowledge in banking/financial industry
• Excellent verbal and communication skills in English
• Strong level of autonomy and flexibility expected especially facing our stakeholders
• Very good analytical and problem solving skills
