Revere Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified Special Education Coordinator Long Term Substitute. The Special Education Coordinator will report directly to the Executive Director of Special Education & Student Services Co-Directors of Student Services. They will collaborate with directors, school principals, assistant principals and families to ensure that programs under their supervision are properly implemented. Their primary function is to create and lead efforts to ensure the smooth operation of Special Education services at the school-level and across the district, align curricula, and foster effective instructional practice while ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws. This assignment would begin August 25, 2025 and continue through mid-November.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must be licensed in Special Education and possess a Masters or higher degree from an accredited college or university and show evidence of at least three years satisfactory full-time experience in the classroom.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following. Additions and modifications to these representative duties and responsibilities are under the purview of the Superintendent of Schools.
