The Role
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our Financial Reporting & Accounting team. Reporting to the Finance Controller, you will support monthly closes, prepare statutory statements, manage reconciliations, and liaise with auditors. Strong knowledge of IFRS, ERP systems (Oracle preferred), and financial reporting is essential. We value detail-oriented professionals with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, committed to process improvements and meeting tight deadlines. Job Description: - Assist with the monthly close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries, performing reconciliations, and conducting variance analyses. - Prepare detailed balance sheet schedules and perform in-depth analyses to ensure accurate financial representation. - Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and manage regulatory filings in line with applicable standards and deadlines. - Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing comprehensive support and timely responses to audit queries and documentation requests. - Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across all reporting systems and databases. - Participate actively in identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements and system enhancements to optimize financial reporting operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or ACCA qualification preferred). - 8-10 years of accounting experience, with a focus on tax, financial reporting, and automation. - Strong working knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and financial reporting guidelines. - Highly detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities to handle complex account reconciliations. - Proven proficiency in ERP systems, with preference for Oracle, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. - Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and general accounting practices within corporate environments. - Capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines and effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to support and liaise with auditors. - Committed to fostering process improvement, ensuring organizational accuracy, and maintaining effective reporting protocols.
