Reporting to the Director, Global Construction Procurement (South Asia), you will play a pivotal role and be responsible in leading procurement & sourcing efforts for major construction projects across South Asia (India). You will lead a dedicated team of procurement professionals, partnering with multiple collaborators, responsible for handling the procurement process for major construction projects from start to finish, ensuring best-in-class. You will participate and actively lead these projects, including reporting to the senior leadership on its progress. Your primary result is to ensure the greatest value of each major construction contract which requires but not limited to, strong sourcing (negotiating), contracting, supplier management skills. Strategic Planning and Execution; Develop comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives. Plan and initiate new projects, including setting timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Performance Management; Establish & monitor performance metrics to identify and implement continual improvement opportunities Project Oversight and Management: Oversee multiple construction procurement projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets. Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as necessary.
