You will manage project resources, schedules, and budgets for the electrical discipline, ensuring quality and technical excellence in all deliverables. Collaboration is central, as you will coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, and environmental teams to deliver integrated solutions. The Team Lead is also responsible for mentoring and developing junior and intermediate engineers, allocating tasks, and providing technical guidance to foster a high-performing, collaborative environment. Client engagement is a key aspect, involving regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and authorities, as well as supporting proposal development and technical presentations. You will champion the adoption of innovative, digital, and sustainable approaches in all aspects of project delivery. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree considered an asset) Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Nova Scotia and or other Atlantic Canada provinces Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with significant exposure to port, marine, or heavy infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and applicable industry standards Experience designing power distribution, lighting, grounding, automation, and communications systems for port environments Proficiency in design platforms and software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, and SKM Demonstrated team leadership skills, including mentoring and developing staff Strong organizational and project management abilities, including resource and budget management Excellent communication and client-facing skills Commitment to health, safety, sustainability, and innovation Experience with business development and proposal support considered an asset Why Arcadis?
