We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, and financial reporting. This role is perfect for someone with 1-2 years of experience and looking to grow within a dynamic organization.
This is a hybrid role with 4 days in office based out of our Vancouver office.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience; SaaS or tech industry experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite); experience with SaaS tools like Salesforce
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and month-end/year-end closing processes
• Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Full cycle accounts payable including processing payments and bank transfers
• Accounts payables and expenses budget to actual analysis
• Support accounts receivable processes, including AR banking and collections management
• Maintain prepaid expenses and fixed assets schedules
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
• Support the preparation of tax filings (GST/PST, US Sales Tax), audit documentation, and other regulatory requirements
• Perform ad hoc accounting tasks and projects as needed
