REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting within the crypto or blockchain industry
• Proficiency in Odoo or similar accounting software (e.g., Zoho, QuickBooks, Xero)
• Sound understanding of blockchain transactions, token utilities, crypto wallets, and digital asset ledgers
• Familiarity with UAE VAT and tax regulations
• Strong skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• ACCA, CA Inter, or equivalent certification
• Knowledge of decentralized finance (DeFi) transaction tracking
• Experience in project-based accounting or multi-entity environments

ABOUT THE ROLE:

BlockVerse Solutions is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant with a strong background in crypto and blockchain-based businesses. You will be responsible for maintaining project-level accounts and managing digital asset-related financial activities using Odoo or similar accounting platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and reconcile daily financial records for multiple blockchain and crypto-related projects
• Manage billing, vendor transactions, expense tracking, and inter-project accounting
• Track and reconcile digital asset flows across wallets, exchanges, and DeFi platforms
• Generate and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support budgeting, cost allocation, and revenue tracking by project
• Ensure accurate documentation for token-related income, trading commissions, staking, etc.
• Coordinate with internal project teams for financial reporting and tax planning
• Maintain audit-ready books and support compliance with UAE tax and financial standards
• Operate primarily within Odoo (or similar ERP) for all entries and reporting
