An opportunity to join an experienced, versatile team, delivering first class administration services to our world class Armed Forces personnel.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Based in the Personnel Office HMS Collingwood, this role provides a broad and flexible service to meet the contracted administration requirements of the Armed Forces (predominantly the Royal Navy) and there is the potential to rotate through various elements of professional responsibilities when required to meet the needs of the business. Training can be provided, where appropriate.
The main responsibilities include providing a dedicated day-to-day focal point for personnel administration, which involves direct customer interaction and liaison with coordinators and line managers. The role requires arranging travel using an online booking system and coordinating with booking companies, coordinators, and travelers. Additionally, the position involves collating and maintaining budget-related information and protecting personnel-related data. Data input and updating within the joint-Service administration system are also key duties. The role includes assessing entitlements such as pay, allowances, expenses, promotions, and awards.
