Safety Support Professional   * Salary Range: $24.04 - $28.85 per hour, based on relevant years of experience * Location: Fort Collins, Colorado at Garcia House * Status: Full time, 40 hours per week * Hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 11:30 AM to 12:00 AM and every other Wednesday, 3:30PM -12AM    Employees working at locations operating 24/7 earn a differential.  Shift differentials are also available for evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.       Role Overview:   Responsible for providing first line response to escalated clients and incidents across our programs/facilities, responding to safety codes, and handling urgent/emergent situations quickly as they arise in a professional and trauma informed manner with careful consideration of SHP policies, procedures, values and philosophy of care as part of a team that supports clients in healthy and therapeutic engagement while enrolled in inpatient and outpatient services.   Essential Duties:    * Engage with clients to support healthy and therapeutic engagement, management of interpersonal conflict, and prevention of escalation and other critical incidents. * Provide first line responses to escalated clients and incidents at our 24/7 facilities or other outpatient/community-based sites. Assist other staff in assessing potentially dangerous situations; intervene to prevent situations from escalating into violence.
