Are you looking to progress your career in surgery whilst working at a major London teaching hospital? This is an exciting time for you to join Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and to work in our leading surgical and allied surgical teams.
We are recruiting for CT1/2 local core surgical programme. Suitable candidates will have completed Foundation Training or equivalent and have a keen career interest in surgery. We are an organisation committed to providing high quality, expert and safe care but also importantly, we value and take our role in medical education and research very seriously.
We offer high quality surgical training programmes across several specialties and have developed our own local core surgical training programme. As a local programme, offered across our multiple sites in North-West London, we can offer tailored core-level equivalent training. The programme is managed, quality assured, supported and mentored by our local training programme director and education team. Successful completion of the programme and assessment at the final local ARCP will culminate in the award of a certificate of readiness to enter higher surgical training (CREHST) to indicate achievement of the required competencies and experience to enter higher surgical training.
We will offer Local Core Surgical training programmes to achieve the required competencies and experience across several specialties as well as specific Themed Core Surgical Rotations.
Themed rotations are offered based in
General Surgery Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery Plastic Surgery
ENT Surgery Vascular Surgery Neurosurgery Rotations will include the allied specialties of Intensive Care Medicine, Transplant Surgery and Major Trauma. Additional and alternative placements may be possible by discussion and agreement with our local TPD.
