Hexcel is currently seeking a Assistant Financial Accountant for our Duxford, UK location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Tracking and reporting of fixed asset for Duxford and Leicester sites
• Understanding and reporting for UK and BE VAT registrations, including intrastat declarations
• Assisting external accountants with preparation of AT and DE VAT information
• Management accounts/budgets for 3 Asia Pacific sales offices
• Assisting with foreign exchange reporting for USD and EUR exposures
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Organisation of Leicester statutory audit
• Prepare reporting in US GAAP lease accounting for capital and operating leases
• Performing month end tasks
• Provide cover in the finance team based in Duxford and Maintain the financial integrity of the accounting data

Qualifications:

• Educated to graduate level
• Suitable professional qualification or working towards – ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Excellent communication and team working skills
• Highly motivated
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
• High level of Numeracy and Literacy
• Good organizational skills, able to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 an advantage
• Fluent English language skills essential
