You will be an employee – No Contractors please Responsibilities: * Operate a truck in a safe and professional manner at all times in GTA especially should be versatile to drive in DOWNTOWN TORONTO * Deliver products to customers on time, while providing complete customer service * Transfer materials and items from truck to dock area or other designated area by hand, hand truck, electric pallet jack, or manual pallet jack * Communicate with customers regarding deliveries, returns, etc. * Maintain logs daily and complies with all other Provincial Transportation procedures/regulations * Conduct Pre-trip and Post-trip truck inspections of tractor and trailer units, in compliance with provincial regulations * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment * Perform other duties and responsibilities as required *Shift schedule: Mon-Fri 6 am - 2:30 pm *Pay rate: $27/hr-$29/hr *Overtime will be required Requirements: * Must hold valid Class AZ driver's license and provide driver's abstract * High School diploma or equivalent * Preferably 3 years’ experience in commercial transportation or a graduate of an accredited truck driving school * Must be able to load and unload products, often requiring manual handling and the use of equipment like pallet jacks. * Possess knowledge of all applicable provincial transportation regulations * Capacity to read and correctly interpret route manifests (GPS) and invoices * Plan and organize effectively; clear communication is a must * Must be customer service orientated and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team * Problem solver with the ability to multi-task using judgement and decision making skills Bunzl Canada Inc.
