The University Library is responsible for the development, delivery and coordination of all Library and associated scholarly services for the University. We are looking for someone to join the Academic Library Services Team as Research Materials Officer on a 12 month fixed term basis 0.4FTE 14.6 hours to provide vital support for researchers in disseminating their work and help the University in reaching its REF commitments.
The role will involve assisting the Academic and Library Specialist (Research Outputs) in the delivery of research outputs management and dissemination, processing and quality control of research output records and materials through the University research information system, enquiry support, supporting compliance with internal and external open research policies, quality control of records for consistency through maintenance of appropriate authority headings, metadata enhancements and providing and reporting on data related to the role to support University research management.
