JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Monitoring & Evaluation Assist medical staff by capturing patient information in paper files such as patient forms and registers and enter data in HIS/HMIS electronic and manual registers on a daily basis Perform basic data analysis and make presentations to health facility staff on recent performance trends. Generate weekly and month data reports in accordance with reporting standards Mentor health facility staff in data management best practices Clean up data in the database to ensure quality, up to date and reliable information Participate in program surveys which include but not limited to KAP surveys, Food Security and Nutrition Assessment surveys and patient exit interviews. Enter MTI program outputs into the various national and donor reporting platforms DHIS2, HIS, Ensure adequate stock of registers and reporting tools available in store and at health facilities Compile data for the preparation and dissemination of progress reports and donor reports Assist the MEAL Officer in conducting assessments such as the ABSC to measure quality of service provision Ensure that data tools are safely stored and safeguard confidentiality of patient’s data in line with acceptable data protection guidelines Collaborate with Public Health team to document accountability mechanisms, community listening sessions, community dialogues and other feedback mechanisms Take lead in facility learning and reflection meetings while ensuring that such action points are followed up during program implementation Support safeguarding of program participants and employees through promoting an environment of awareness and upholding the code of conduct provisions of Medical Teams Protection from Sexual Exploitation & Abuse, Child & Vulnerable Adult protection, and harassment-free workplace policies. QualificationsEDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICICATIONS Required Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Social Sciences, Information Technology or related field or Diploma in Health information and record management from a recognised Institution Optimal computer proficiency with MS Office software: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
