In this role, you will be pivotal in preparing the organization for its first external audit and positioning the company for successful entry into public markets. Lead the preparation of GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures. Oversee the external audit process, ensuring readiness and compliance. Manage relationships with external technical accounting advisors. Collaborate with valuation specialists on intangible asset valuations. Partner with tax advisors for international accounting needs. Establish workflows, controls, and reporting standards for public-company operations. Document clear and scalable accounting policies. Leverage AI tools for research and workflow automation. Build and mentor the accounting team as the company scales.
