MetroStar is seeking a Director, Growth Operations to serve as the right hand to our Chief Growth Officer (CGO), driving operational excellence, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a high-impact, strategic role designed to accelerate the performance of MetroStar’s growth organization while ensuring seamless integration with the broader company. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, strong operator, and trusted partner who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Operations & Execution Partner closely with MetroStar’s CGO to define, operationalize, and execute the growth strategy. Translate high-level priorities into actionable plans, ensuring clarity, accountability, and measurable outcomes. Anticipate challenges and proactively develop solutions to remove obstacles and maintain organizational momentum. Organizational Effectiveness Establish and maintain effective systems, processes, and cadences to streamline operations across MetroStar’s growth team. Monitor performance metrics, ensuring the team is aligned to goals and delivering results on time and at quality. Drive accountability by implementing clear reporting mechanisms and follow-up processes. Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as a connective tissue between growth and other MetroStar departments, ensuring communication and collaboration flow smoothly. Identify opportunities to break down silos, improve cross-team workflows, and strengthen company-wide alignment. Represent the CGO in meetings, communications, and initiatives, providing continuity and influence across the organization. Strategic Advising & Leadership Serve as a thought partner to MetroStar’s CGO, offering insights, analyses, and recommendations on business decisions. Provide a structured perspective to complex challenges, balancing strategic vision with tactical execution. Mentor and coach team members to elevate leadership effectiveness and organizational impact. What Your Day Will Look Like In this role, you will partner with MetroStar’s CGO to anticipate market shifts, surface opportunities, and shape the company’s long-term growth agenda. You’ll drive strategic alignment across teams, ensuring bold initiatives are translated into clear priorities and executed effectively. Acting as an extension of the CGO, you’ll represent growth perspectives in executive forums, provide structured analysis for critical decisions, and build frameworks that guide resource allocation. Each day, you’ll blend big-picture thinking with operational discipline to maximize the impact of MetroStar’s growth strategy. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or business leadership roles. Proven track record of driving organizational performance and cross-functional initiatives. Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Experience working closely with C-level executives; Chief of Staff or high-level operations experience preferred. Ability to thrive in ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and execute with speed and precision. Strong relationship-building skills and high emotional intelligence. TARGET SALARY: $170,000- $232,000 The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
