This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. * Operate a commercial rear end loader vehicle along assigned routes to customers and disposal sites * Deliver, transport and/or unload container with materials at designated locations/dump site * Return container to original location * Operate electronic devices to log/report information * Communicate with dispatch personnel * Report delays due to road conditions, accidents, or breakdowns to management * Reporting all container-related issues and needs to dispatch and management * Keep truck and associated equipment, clean, safe and in good working order * Perform truck inspections pre and post trip * Safely collect commercial waste/recyclable materials from designated locations * Safely operate all vehicle controls for lifting and loading * Safely operate compacters to dispose of material * Follow all applicable traffic laws and regulations * Ensure that all required personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn What We’re Looking For:  * Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record * Proven experience as a CDL driver, preferably in the waste management industry * Knowledge of local geography and road networks * Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures * Ability to operate and maintain waste collection vehicles and equipment * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and operating heavy equipment * Shifts may vary, 40+ hours per week (overtime available) * Must be able to safely lift and move 50lbs or more at a time * Able to sit in trailer cab for extended periods of time
