Warehouse Operations Supervisor / Team Leader

-New Warehouse Setup / Hands-on Leadership / Logistics Operations-A global Japanese trading company is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor / Team Leader to support the launch and daily operation of its new warehouse.You will responsibility for warehouse activities, team coordination, and operational improvements. • Main ResponsibilitiesManage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and inventory control
• Coordinate warehouse staff, workloads, and daily operational activities
• Monitor stock accuracy, investigate inventory discrepancies, and maintain efficient inventory processes
• Manage inbound and outbound schedules and respond to operational issues
• Operate and support WMS, ERP, and warehouse scanning systems
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety, quality, and hygiene standards
• Monitor operational performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Support the setup and development of processes for the new Berlin warehouse
• Coordinate with internal departments, logistics providers, and drivers

• Ideal CandidatePrevious professional experience in warehouse or logistics operations
• Experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, Shift Leader, or similar position
• Strong practical knowledge of inbound, outbound, picking, packing, and inventory operations
• Experience supervising or coordinating warehouse employees
• Experience using WMS, ERP, or warehouse scanning systems
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on approach with the ability to manage operational issues independently
• Working proficiency in English

• PreferredExperience in food, FMCG, wholesale, retail distribution or 3PL environments
• Knowledge of FIFO / FEFO, batch and lot-controlled products
• German language skills at B2 level or above
• Understanding of HACCP or food hygiene requirements
• Experience in chilled or frozen warehouse operations
• Forklift licence (Staplerschein)

• ConditionsLocation: Berlin, Germany
• Working Style: office-based
• Salary: €45,500-€52,000 gross per annum depending on experience (based on 13 salary payments)
• Job Type: permanent, full-time
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am-6pm
