Job Description As our Design Manager you’ll lead the planning and technical design of data centre projects, ensuring innovative, scalable, and compliant solutions aligned with Hyperscale Data Centre requirements. Here you’ll support the project delivery across all project phases from due diligence to handover with technical analysis and advice and coordinating multi-discipline teams to deliver the designs for high-performance resilient Data Centres with a focus on safety in design, buildability and prefabrication for speed of delivery and innovation in achieving both technical and commercial outcomes. Being our DM PM, you’ll work collaboratively with our Engineering and Design Centre of Excellence SMEs and sector leads, to achieve economies of scale and speed through standardised long lead, free issue equipment, application of lessons learned, NEXTDC design standards, briefs, process and scopes of services to improve speed, scale, security, sustainability, reliability, business case total cost of ownership and ROIC for hyperscale projects.
