About this role
Our clinic in Mater Hospital is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team. We are happy to accommodate a start date best suited to the successful candidate.
The role is a part time position with shifts of Monday 8:30am – 4:30pm, Tuesday 8:30am – 4:30pm, and Wednesday 8:30am – 4pm.
Role Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
• Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
• Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
• Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
• Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

✅ Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.
✅ Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
✅ Customer service experience in fast paced environments is very beneficial.
