JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities include handling the day to day requirements of the warehouse operation in the flight catering center.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

• Possession of a Forklift License.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License with a clean record.
• Familiarity with hand trucks, pallet jacks and other standard warehouse tools.
• Previous warehouse experience would be an asset.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and good driving record would be an asset.
• Experience with driving trucks or small industrial vehicles preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and communicate in English.
• Knowledge of warehousing and distribution, SOPs including WHMIS.
• Knowledge of proper receiving, verifying, issuance and documentation.
• Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety.
• Physically capable to fulfill the duties of the position including ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Team player: able to work well with others with a positive attitude.
• Can work with minimal supervision

• Prepare loading dock to accept or dispatch supplies.
• Load and offload deliveries.
• Ability to drive a 5-ton truck to pick up and drop off goods from location to location would be an asset.
• Match incoming and outgoing supplies with purchase orders and other proper documentation.
• Verify product expiration codes.
• Inspect for compliance to standards, sort, organize and distribute incoming or outgoing supplies.
• Report discrepancies, recommend corrective action and implement approved corrective action.
• Complete stock counts and fill out routine stock orders as required.
• Maintain work areas organized and safe.
• Make deliveries with company car and truck.
• Other duties as assigned Receiving supplies from Vendors.
