L’IJEA est un·e allié·e qui favorise les apprentissages, renforce la confiance en soi des élèves autochtones et la fierté culturelle afin de favoriser une expérience scolaire positive et enrichie. Offrir un accompagnement aux élèves autochtones (M à 12) aux niveaux académique, socio-émotionnel, comportementales et/ou social, tout en suivant le plan de réussite des l’élèves ; Assurer la mise en place d’objectifs définis selon les besoins des élèves autochtones en favorisant leur bien-être et leurs apprentissages ; Promouvoir les principes d’apprentissages des premiers peuples et l’utilisation de l’humilité culturelle auprès des élèves autochtones ; Encourager la participation active des élèves autochtones en jouant un rôle d’allié·e, de modèle positif et de personne de confiance ; Faciliter la collaboration entre les différents membres de l’école et partager les références et les ressources pour les élèves autochtones ; Faire le lien et établir une communication de confiance entre l'école et la famille ; Intervenir auprès des élèves autochtones et les référer à des organismes externes offrant des services de soutien communautaires en impliquant les familles ; Accompagner les réussites des élèves autochtones, assurer leur bien-être et offrir un appui culturel et identitaire ; Valoriser et promouvoir les langues, les savoirs et les cultures autochtones ; Organiser et donner des ateliers sur les habiletés sociales, l’autorégulation, la résolution de conflits interpersonnels et autres sujets ; Rédiger des rapports d'activités mensuels, des rapports d'intervention lorsqu’applicable et les partager avec la direction de l’éducation autochtone ; Participer aux rencontres de l'équipe-école et à l’élaboration des plans de comportements au besoin ; Travailler en collaboration avec les divers intervenant·e·s scolaires et externes ; Toute autre tâche connexe. Qualifications Diplôme collégial d’un (1) an en intervention et travail auprès de jeune public ou en travail social, facilitant une bonne compréhension des besoins des élèves autochtones ou une combinaison d’éducation et d’expérience équivalente ; Expérience de travail d’un (1) an avec les jeunes d’âge scolaire ; Posséder une expérience de travail dans la prise en charge et l’accompagnement d’élèves et de familles autochtones ; Excellentes relations interpersonnelles et capacité à travailler en équipe ; Faire preuve d'écoute active et d'empathie ; Posséder des habiletés de résolution de problèmes ; Être proactif·ve dans les propositions et le déploiement de projets culturels et identitaires en collaboration avec l’équipe école ; Capacité d'intervention sociale auprès des élèves, individuellement ou en groupe ; Souhaiter poursuivre son développement professionnel dans le domaine recherché ; Maîtrise du français et bon niveau d'anglais à l'oral et à l'écrit ; Dans la logique de réconciliation et afin d’accompagner au mieux les besoins des élèves autochtones, la préférence sera donnée aux candidat·e·s possédant des racines autochtones.
