Join us as an experienced Data Governance Architect to strengthen our Data Governance & Data Controls team! You will drive the enhancement, implementation and maintenance of our Data Management framework, allowing us to leverage our data assets to achieve business and regulatory objectives.
The role is centred around on defining and implementing the blueprint for how data is handled, used, and protected across the Danske Bank group. Our new Data Governance Architect will act as Group Data Management’s bridge between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring that data is managed effectively and according to standards to support the organization’s goals and objectives.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AS DATA GOVERNANCE ARCHITECT

You will act as the Data Governance & Data Controls team’s main point of contact for areas seeking guidance and support across aspects of consistent Data Management implementation across the bank. You will also leverage effective experience and relationship building among business and technical stakeholders to understand their challenges and identify how data management capabilities can be leveraged to support them. Furthermore, you will:

• Develop and maintain scalable data management practices, standards, and procedures, for managing data across its lifecycle
• Monitor and optimise data management framework for compliance, performance and scalability
• Monitor the effectiveness of data management practices and controls and drive continuous improvement of data management processes to ensure compliance with established standards and policies as well as managing the Bank’s data risk
• Define and drive approach for extending Danske Bank’ s Domain Model with conceptual and logical models in order to better manage the Bank’s data entities and critical data
• Partner with business, IT, and data role holder teams on all levels to embed data management practices into operational and strategic processes
