Le superviseur reverra ses travaux pour s’assurer qu’ils sont complets et exacts et qu’ils produisent les résultats voulus. Pour faire ces travaux techniques, il faut posséder de vastes connaissances spécialisées afin de pouvoir s’acquitter de fonctions hautement complexes dans le domaine du génie municipal, en mettant l’accent sur la coordination et le travail administratif dans la négociation, l’examen, la planification, la conception, la construction, l’entretien et l’acceptation par la Ville du lotissement construit par le promoteur et dans l’aménagement des sites appartenant à des intérêts privés. Les travaux consistent aussi à exercer ses compétences dans la gestion de projets se rapportant à l’aménagement des lotissements et des sites, en priorisant la négociation, l’examen, l’approbation et l’acceptation des travaux.  Il faut connaître le logiciel de SIG (Système d’information géospatiale) pour l’examen, l’entretien et la connexion par hyperliens des infrastructures et des dossiers de la Ville pour toutes les servitudes, emprises et autres infrastructures enregistrées dans le SIG de la Ville. Le ou la titulaire de ce poste est également chargé(e) de l’examen, de l’approbation et de l’acceptation des travaux en ce qui a trait aux différents lotissements construits par les promoteurs immobiliers et aux aménagements qui sont gérés par le Bureau de l’ingénierie. Le travail, qui se déroule essentiellement dans un bureau, oblige aussi à travailler en extérieur pour les inspections et d’autres activités.  Le ou la titulaire de ce poste doit être en mesure de s’acquitter de tâches nouvelles à mesure que la technologie avance et de suivre l’évolution de la technologie; il ou elle devrait exercer ces activités de manière autonome, en menant ses missions de conception avec que très peu ou pas de supervision. SCOLARITÉ:  * Diplôme d’études secondaires ou l’équivalent. * Réussite d’un cours technique dans un domaine lié directement au génie municipal et agrément de technologue de la Société des techniciens et des technologues agréés du génie du Nouveau-Brunswick. Le ou la titulaire doit être admissible au titre de membre de cette association en tant que technologue professionnel(le) [PTech ou CET] et doit continuer d’être affilié(e) à cet organisme. EXPÉRIENCE PROFESSIONNELLE:  * Au moins une (1) année d’expérience professionnelle dans le domaine du génie municipal ou dans un domaine connexe. Cette expérience peut prendre la forme d’un emploi, d’études de premier cycle, d’un stage d’été ou d’un stage effectué dans le cadre d’un programme alternance travail-études, entre autres. COMPÉTENCES LINGUISTIQUES:  * La connaissance de l’anglais est essentielle.
