Role description: Arcadis Canada is seeking an experienced technical support staff at the intermediate and senior levels to join our Resilience team in New Brunswick on a part time as needed basis. This role sits within the Global Business Area of Resilience and will support our many active remediation and environmental projects. The successful candidate will coordinate and execute activities assigned by Project Managers related to the execution of environmental projects, real-time instrumentation, oversight of the installation of various remediation/treatment systems, and compliance sampling. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of instrumentation and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and make repairs as required. Role accountabilities: As technical support staff, your responsibilities will include supporting environmental site assessments, risk assessments, and remediation projects under the direction and guidance of a Project Manager. This includes conducting site visits and inspections, monitoring and supervising drilling and/or remediation activities, preparing field notes, collecting soil and groundwater samples, supporting data tabulation, and writing environmental reports. We are looking for candidates with experience with FCSAP, PFAS, and who has completed contaminated sites field work at government sites. Travel to sites around New Brunswick will assume approximately 85% of the time and is required.
