You will work alongside students, researchers, and staff as they develop ideas, create prototypes, and build confidence working with technology and making. You’ll contribute to the day-to-day operation of the Makerspace, while supporting how it continues to evolve - including tools, systems, and ways of working that enable experimentation and hands-on learning. The role spans hands-on technical support, workshop and activity delivery, and working directly with individuals and teams developing early-stage concepts, creative projects, and venture ideas. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across CIE programmes and the wider University. We’re looking for someone who can step into an established environment, quickly build confidence with tools and processes, and contribute from early on.
