This environment will assist individuals to develop practical life skills including, household tasks, meeting education/vocational needs, cultural awareness, community activities and participation, building positive relationships with whanau and peers, and everyday problem solving and coping strategies. A natural ability to relate to other and build rapport with people we support and other team members is essential along with a strong desire to make a positive difference.
