We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pricing Actuary to join the regional P&C team based in Singapore. The role will provide an opportunity to work across different markets and products within the Property & Casualty business unit with a focus on long tail lines of business. In the actuarial pricing team, the key responsibilities relate to providing to product owners pricing recommendations which are based on sound actuarial analyses.

The candidate is expected to provide trusted actuarial advice for long tail P&C lines which include Casualty (GL/WC) and Financial Lines (D&O, PI, Medmal and Cyber). The person will manage a small team to work on exercises that can include:

• Detailed portfolio review to identify pricing/underwriting actions that should be taken to enhance profitability.
• Account pricing for larger policies where there is sufficient claims experience to do so.
• Build/maintain pricing models which can include predictive modelling techniques such as GLM and Machine Learning.
• Evaluate reinsurance purchases.
• Design and develop monitoring infrastructure to track key performance metrics for strategic portfolios.
• Present technical results to a wide range of internal stakeholders including frontline business owners and management.
• Ensure the accuracy of the rate monitoring process of our portfolios.
• Extract and manipulate data from internal and external data sources for analytical work.
• Enhance quality of data and processing efficiency to meet expanding business needs as the P&C portfolios grow.
• Provide support and coaching to more junior members of the team.

This role will have close engagement with the stakeholders of various countries and products. The ability to interact with colleagues from different backgrounds and communicate in a direct and prompt manner will be critical to success in this role and further opportunities within the Chubb global network
